Animal Feed
We will have an onsite shop with a range of feed products available.
The alpacas will be penned in pavilions 2 & 3(see venue maps). A standard pen will be 2.4 x 2.4 and shredded paper for bedding. Alternatively straw will be available for purchase.
This year the Expo falls right in the middle of the Rugby World Cup, bringing with it both up and downsides.
On the upside, there are a lot of extra potential visitors to Alpaca Expo 2011 in the area, also it is creating a lot more avenues to promote the event, piggy backing on the RWC event planning.
On the downside, travel and accommodation options will be more limited. Although there are no games on in Tauranga (one of the reasons this venue was selected), we recommend you book your trip now. Travel and Accommodation links.
